OHIO — Akron-born band The Black Keys announced it will release a new album on April 5, which gives an ode to its native state: "Ohio Players."
Additionally, the band announced its "International Players" world tour, which includes stops in Cleveland and Columbus. Both concerts will also feature the band The Head and the Heart.
Cleveland's concert will be on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, and for Columbus, the band will play at Nationwide Arena on Thursday, Oct. 24.

The band formed in Akron in 2001, and since then, it has won six Grammy Awards. "Ohio Players" will be its 12th studio album.
