CLEVELAND — For the fifth consecutive holiday season, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo announced the return of Wild Winter Lights starting Nov. 14.

“We’re so grateful for the support of our community partners in helping to bring back Wild Winter Lights for its fifth year,” said Kelly Manderfield, Cleveland Metroparks's chief marketing officer. “This year’s event offers a memorable holiday experience for everyone with over 1.5 million lights, two musical light shows and a new surprise for the little ones that we’ll be revealing in the coming weeks.”

The event also includes carousel rides, ice carvers, model train displays, costumed characters and guests can also get their picture taken with Santa Claus. Treat options include Jack Frost Donuts, Kernels by Chrissie and hot chocolate as visitors they take in the sights. 

This year, guests once again have the option of walking through the Wild Winter Lights or doing the drive-thru experience. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on select dates from Tuesday, Nov. 14 through Saturday, Dec. 30.

Tickets are limited and organizers encourage advance online reservations. Tickets bought in advance will be $19 for members and $22 for non-members. A four pack will be $60 for members and $70 for non-members.

Children under 2 have free admission. 

The tickets for the drive-thru experience must be purchased in advance and will cost $45 for zoo members and $55 per car for non-members.
