CLEVELAND — The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad announced Wednesday that tickets are on sale for its North Pole Adventure train ride this winter.

  • The 90-minute trip is for everyone of all ages, where people can meet Santa, sip on some hot chocolate and eat some cookies while taking in the sights

  • Train rides start Nov. 8 and run through Dec. 21

  • All passengers who are 2 years old and older must have a ticket, but those 1-year-old and younger do not

The North Pole Adventure is a 26-mile excursion from the Akron Northside Station to the North Pole, CVSR said. 

The 90-minute trip is for everyone of all ages, where people can meet Santa, sip on some hot chocolate and eat some cookies while taking in the sights. 

"This is more than just a train ride – it’s an immersive experience that will create cherished memories for children and adults of all ages," CVSR said. "Watch in awe as the winter wonderland unfolds before your eyes, and feel the warmth of Christmas spirit fill the air."

Train rides start Nov. 8 and run through Dec. 21. All passengers who are 2 years old and older must have a ticket, but those 1-year-old and younger do not. Departures are at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on select dates. Ticket prices differ depending on whether passengers choose Coach Class, Table Class, First Class Lounge or First Class. 

In general, tickets range from $45 to $92.
