OHIO — Starting Friday at 6 a.m., a travel ban issued by the Ohio Turnpike goes into effect until Sunday at 8 a.m.
Vehicles that won't be permitted on the turnpike during the ban includes:
- High-profile (exceeding 7’6″) tow-behind trailers, campers, boats and enclosed trailers — this does not include 5th-wheel trailers
- Commercial trucks towing an empty single 53-foot trailer
- Mobile homes, office trailers and livestock trailers
- LCV double-trailer combinations exceeding 90 feet in length
- LCV triple-trailer combinations
Most of the state is under a Winter Storm Warning as of Thursday morning. The system will move in Thursday night, bringing a round of rain that will freeze over, and then turn into snow on Friday. For more details, click here.
