Councilmember Meredith Turner represents the 9th District of Cuyahoga County. After working behind-the-scenes in Ohio politics for a while, she is proud to be an elected representative.

Turner was inspired to run for office by Stephanie Tubbs Jones, an Ohio politician that served as a mentor to her. She enjoys the opportunity to solve problems and empower her constituents.

Turner is currently reading "The Warmth of Other Suns" by Isabel Wilkerson.  If she wasn't in public service, she would continue to teach.
