Representing Ohio's 60th District, State Representative Brian Lorenz was inspired to run for office because he wanted to make a difference for families living in his community. He would say the hardest part of his job is when he has to tell someone "no," as he hopes to fulfill every request he can.

Lorenz would say his biggest accomplishment during his time in office is passing property tax relief for military widows. Three words he would use to describe his district are "demanding, articulate, and concerned."

Lorenz's favorite subject in school was geography. His first job was working as a paper boy.
