As the Mayor of Bexley, Ben Kessler enjoys the creativity that goes into this job-whether it is customer service, problem solving, or setting goals for the community. He attributes good policy outcomes to listening to the needs of the community and keeping an open mind. 

Kessler is proud of Bexley's sustainability efforts, including curbside food waste disposal, a ban on plastic bags, and access to renewable energy. 

When asked to describe Bexley in three words, Kessler chose "community-focused, walkable, and historic." If he could have lunch with any public figure, it would be former President Barack Obama.
