1. Columbus agrees to pay family of Andre' Hill $10 million, largest settlement in city history

The City of Columbus has agreed to pay the family of Andre' Hill $10 million after Hill was shot and killed by a former Columbus Division of Police officer last December. Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein announced the settlement, the largest in the city's history, in a press release Friday. 

2. Opening Day at Cedar Point kicks off with pandemic-related changes

After a challenging year, Cedar Point is looking forward to a successful 2021 season now that the park is officially open. Officials say visitors can expect a celebration, along with a few COVID-19 related changes. 

3. Deal reached to form commission to investigate Capitol riot

The top Democrat and Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee announced Friday they have reached a deal on legislation to create a bipartisan, independent commission to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

4. Ohio bishops: Catholics obligated to return to Mass in June as COVID-19 protocols ease

With COVID-19 restrictions easing throughout the state, the Bishops of Ohio announced on Thursday that Catholics will be obligated to return to Mass the weekend of June 5 and 6.
