DUDLEY, Mass. - A Friday Night Football Frenzy alum is now one step closer to playing on Sundays.

Former Shepherd Hill standout Alec Lindstrom signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent. Lindstrom played college ball at Boston College. He isn't the only Lindstrom in the NFL. His older brother Chris was taken in the 1st round of the draft by the Atlanta Falcons in 2019. Alec says signing with the Cowboys felt like the right move, and he's ready to take his football career to the next level.

"I want to go show the world who Alec Lindstrom is, and that's what I'm going to do" he said. "No matter what, you know, I've worked hard my whole entire life. Not many people believed in me. Boston College was one of the people to give me a shot. Now the Cowboys is another person to give me a shot, another team. That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to work hard and give it everything I have."

Lindstrom says he'll be heading to Texas next week, and is looking forward to learning the playbook. He joins fellow Shepherd Hill Ram Sean McKeon in Dallas.
