LONGMEADOW, Mass. - U.S. Rep. Richard Neal will continue his service in the U.S. House of Representatives for at least two more years after coming away victorious in this year's election for the state's 1st Congressional District.
Neal stopped by the Longmeadow Community Center Tuesday where he was greeted by several supporters outside the facility.
Neal told Spectrum News some of the accomplishments he is most proud of include passing legislation for the American Rescue Plan and the Infrastructure Bill.
He also talked about his goals for the future.
"I also think we're going to have to continue the subsidies for the affordable care act, and I also think that a reasonable border policy makes a good deal of sense," Neal said. "You're talking to someone whose grandparents were immigrants, and I think we need a legal process, I don't think the American people are opposed to a legal process."
Neal beat challenger Nadia Milleron for the seat.
