While she has been at several rallies, Harris has been criticized for not doing more interviews on the campaign trail.

For Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts), a party loyalist, getting Harris out in front of the people as much as possible before November is vital.

“She's got 77 days from now until November 5th, and the whole idea is for her to find as many ways as she can. Just to let more people around this country get to know her. So I think the media strategy is more and more and more and more and more. How do you reach out to more and more people?”

Harris has struggled in policy polling on the ability to handle the economy compared to former president Donald Trump.

Warren says she thinks Harris has more tangible solutions.

“Prices need to come down. Life is too expensive. The question is, what are you going to do about it?” said Warren. “Donald Trump certainly has been shaking his fist, but the truth is he's got no plan. Kamala Harris says, wait a minute. We may not be able to fix every piece of everything, but there's one thing we can go after, and that is price gouging.”

Warren says she is looking forward to the party laying out even more of their policies as the week goes on.

She is scheduled to speak at the convention on Thursday.
