WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester Academy baseball team kicked off their home opener with a bang, beating Buckingham Brown & Nichols School, 11-0, at Gaskill Field in Worcester.

The Hilltoppers got great starting pitching from T.J. Power who threw four innings of shutout ball. Will Ernst and George Proffit came out of the bullpen to close it out.  Jimmy Railsback and John Tully had 3 RBI each for Worcester Academy. 

On the college circuit, Holy Cross defeated Harvard, 11-5, for a good mid-week win.  Angelo D'Acunto had a three-run home run for the Crusaders, while Nate Wolf was 2-2 with an RBI and two runs scored,. Local guy Tyler Mudd scored the winning run and Trevor Neff threw three innings of scoreless ball with five strikeouts.
