The Worcester Red Sox are showing off what their uniforms will look like when they take the field in the city next spring.
The team doesn't have just two or three jerseys, the WooSox will have nine different looks next year.
Team president Dr. Charles Steinberg says it was a tough job to narrow it down because of the excitement around the team.
"The reason we have nine jerseys is the love of Worcester. It became apparent to us as soon as we announced we were moving here, that people were so proud of their city. Typically, you would wear your nickname on your home jersey, WooSox, and wear the name of your city on the away jersey, Worcester. But that wasn't what we were feeling here," said Dr. Steinberg.
The WooSox will begin play at Polar Park next spring. The ball park project appears to be back on schedule after a topping off ceremony last week.
