Your weekend is here, Kentucky, and it's time to take a look back at some of the stories that were in our headlines this week.

Your Weekend Weather

By Saturday, an approaching system will help spark scattered to numerous showers. Temperatures will remain mild with highs in the 70s.

That system will push a cold front across the commonwealth on Sunday. It's at this time when many of us will have the best chance of seeing strong to perhaps severe thunderstorms as the atmospheric setup will be prime for them to develop. All hazards will be possible as the front pushes through, including damaging winds and spin-up tornadoes. The multiple waves of rain will also create the possibility for an isolated risk of flash flooding. Highs on Sunday will be mild, with most locations reaching the mid to upper 70s.
