KENTUCKY — The coldest air of the season thus far is pouring into the Ohio Valley.


What You Need To Know

  • Multiple rounds of cold air will dive in from the north

  • Temperatures will run 10 to 20 degrees below normal

  • Wind chills could drop into the teens if not colder 

Bundle up starting today with temperatures struggling to warm-up! It will also be a bit blustery today with wind gusts 20 to 30 mph. Wind chills for a good portion of the day will be stuck in the 20s.

Temperatures from Saturday through early next week will be 15-20 degrees colder than normal.

Light snow is expected by late Saturday into Saturday night with up to 1 inch of snow possible in spots. This system will bring another blast of colder air by Sunday and Monday mornings with wind chills down into the teens.  Some areas may feel like the single digits.

We will finally see temperatures warming up by Wednesday into Thursday of next week with afternoon highs climbing closer to our average.
