After a very mild start to winter, the snow and cold have finally arrived. Even with the recent snow, there is still a snow “drought.”

The snow that fell Sunday night into Monday helped with the lack of snowfall in December and early January.

Here is a breakdown of some of the snowfall numbers across the state.

More snow is on the way

Another couple of systems will bring snow to Kentucky on Thursday afternoon into the first half of Friday. That will bring more accumulating snow, with the highest amounts falling along and east of I-65. Stay tuned for the latest on snowfall amounts.
