  • The snow lingers the longest in southeast Kentucky

  • An additional inch or two will be possible in southeast Kentucky

  • Lows will drop into the low to mid-teens

  • Road conditions will be dangerous

Winter alerts continue into Tuesday morning for slick road conditions.

Light snow will continue in the eastern half of the state and exit Kentucky after midnight.

If you’re traveling, please slow down and use extra caution keeping your distance between your vehicle and the others around you.

The roads will be very slippery in the morning. The roads should improve in the afternoon as clouds decrease and the sun returns.
