After a bit of a soggy week, we head back into a drier stretch just in time for the weekend.

What You Need To Know

  • Sunshine returns on Saturday
  • Climbing into the 60s Saturday afternoon
  • A few more clouds return to the sky by Sunday

A high pressure system builds in for the upcoming weekend with plenty of sunshine returning. But, we will notice a difference in our temperatures as we dip back below average.

Saturday should feature a mostly sunny sky with temperatures climbing into the lower 60s. Grab a lighter jacket if you are heading to Thunder Over Louisville, especially once the sun sets. The wind will be coming out of the north, so it will be better viewing on the Indiana side this year.

Sunday morning starts off chilly in the upper 30s and lower 40s. A few more clouds will drift across the sky with temperatures only climbing into the upper 50s and lower 60s.
