LEXINGTON, Ky.- Sitting in the upper deck at Rupp Arena will be more comfortable for fans beginning in the 2019 basketball season thanks to new chair-back seating. UK Athletics is also adding new club areas to the arena for all the fans to enjoy. These new perks have UK introducing a new pricing model for the upcoming season.
UK worked with Ticketmaster to determine the new pricing model. There are now seven different pricing levels in the upper level of Rupp Arena. For the sideline sections, base tickets range from $1,150 through $1,400 but a majority of the seats will not have the annual per-seat K Fund donations. The upper-level corners and end-zone areas will still have bleacher seats and tickets range from $950 though $1,050. The annual season ticket cost for a majority of the upper level seats actually decreases fro last year.
To get a visual understanding of what the new ticket prices in Rupp Arena will be, here is a complete seating chart with pricing.
Lower level seating at Rupp are really not affected by the renovations and therefore, ticket pricing is not changing drastically.
All season ticket holder in the upper level will participate in a new seat selection process beginning in May. The order in which fans will select seats will be determined by K Fund priority points as of February 1, 2019.
