LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Last month former University of Louisville receiver Harry Douglas was inducted into the UofL Athletic Hall of Fame. Tuesday it was announced Douglas is being named to the 2021 class of ACC Football Legends.
Douglas attended UofL from 2004-2007 and is second in career receiving yards at UofL with 2,924. His 13 catches and 223 yards against Kentucky in 2007 remains a school single-game record. Originally from Jonesboro, Georgia, Douglas was honored twice on the All-Big East first team and was named a second-team All American in 2007. Douglas helped UofL win the Big East Championship and beat Wake Forest in the Orange Bowl. He was a third-round NFL Draft pick of the Atlanta Falcons. He played nine seasons in the NFL with the Falcons and Tennessee Titans.
Douglass is now an ESPN analyst, radio and television host. He and his wife Kierra have two children.
Douglas will be joined by 13 other honorees for the 2021 class. They are:
Boston College’s Mark Herzlich, Clemson’s David Treadwell, Duke’s Anthony Dilweg, Florida State’s Peter Warrick, Georgia Tech’s Morgan Burnett, Miami’s Reggie Wayne, North Carolina’s Vonnie Holliday, NC State’s Jerricho Cotchery, Pitt’s Dan Marino, Syracuse’s Markus Paul, Virginia’s Shawn Moore, Virginia’s Tech’s Frank Beamer and Wake Forest’s Desmond Clark.
The 2021 ACC Legends class will be honored during the ACC Football Honors at the Blumenthal Arts Center's Booth Playhouse on Friday, Dec. 3 and during the pregame festivities at the 17th annual Subway ACC Football Championship Game Saturday, Dec. 4 at Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium. The ACC Football Honors show will air on Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. on ACC Network.
