Every year, Galaxie in Louisville’s Nulu neighborhood, transforms into a Christmas pop-up bar, also known as Miracle on Market. General Manager and head elf Bradly Hammond says they started Christmas decorating the first week of November.

“This is our eighth season doing Miracle here at this location. And this is one of our busiest seasons yet. We are so excited to be sharing all the Christmas spirit with the city and our lovely community here in Louisville,” said Hammond.

Hammond says Miracle on Market is where the holiday magic can continue more than just one day

“And I think it’s just the feeling of joy that Christmas brings to people that really drives people in here. And looking at all the lights and the presents just gets people excited for that. That feeling that you get Christmas morning that we all kind of crave year long and luckily, because of what we do here, you can come in and have that feeling over and over again,” said Hammond.

Lauren Pope says she makes it a point to visit Miracle on Market every year.

“Just because it’s fun, like, gets you in the Christmas spirit,” said Pope.

And her favorite part is the wide array of different flavors and the dozen of custom Christmas drinks

“The festive cocktail cups. Like my little tyrannosaurus rex. Here. Cute little cup. Honestly, just gets you more in the spirit. Why not have a festive cocktail in a cute cup?” said Pope.

And families can enjoy the holiday fun too.

“We’ve expanded into doing a whole Christmas-themed food menu, hot chocolates for the kids, and so you can bring your family down here all ages up till 9 p.m. and then around 9 p.m., we flip into more of an adult themed bar type settings” said Hammond.

Hammond added, “Christmas movies are always on display, Christmas lights, we do Christmas karaoke, and even past Christmas, we’re still celebrating. This Thursday, we’ve got, Home alone, movie bingo. So the Christmas season is not over in our minds.”

Hammond says he hopes to continue to make Miracle on Market the Christmas go-to spot in downtown Louisville. The holiday pop-up bar Miracle on Market will continue to celebrate Christmas until Dec. 29.
