Nikelle Delgado started at Spectrum News 1 based in Louisville, Kentucky in Nov. 2023. She found her love for journalism in high school; because of her love for singing and dancing, she was no stranger to being in front of the camera. 

Reporting and producing for Bloom Scene is where Nikelle originally found her passion for reporting. She continued pursuing that passion by getting her bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Communications at Olivet Nazarene University, where she gained a more in-depth understanding for all aspects of media. She worked with Access ONU, Shine RX3, Shine.FM, a Chicago radio station “The Prayze Café,” and, most recently, reported for a FOX affiliate in Rockford, Illinois. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending baseball games, karaoke, fashion styling, binge-watching shows, and pretty much any DIY project.
