LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The playoff game for Louisville City FC will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 the club announced Tuesday.

As the No. 1 overall seed, Louisville City will host the Eastern Conference’s eighth place finisher in the conference quarterfinal round.

The 2024 USL Championship Playoffs are a single-elimination, fixed bracket competition that sees the top eight teams from the Eastern and Western conferences qualify.

Louisville City could face any number of opponents, with the seventh place Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC only three points clear of the 11th place Birmingham Legion FC going into the final week of the season.

If the boys in purple win their playoff opener, they head to the conference semifinal round Nov. 8-10. The tournament culiminates in the USL Championship on Saturday, Nov. 23.

The club will look to add to its already decorated history that includes back-to-back league titles in 2017 and 2018, plus Eastern Conference championships in 2019 and 2022.

Louisville will tune up for the playoffs with a regular season finale against Phoenix Rising FC. That game, which features a complimentary trick-or-treat for kids beginning at 6 p.m., starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at Lynn Family Stadium.
