LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville men's basketball is just two weeks away from kicking off the Pat Kelsey era, and the program has announced its full slate of theme games for the 2024-25 season.

There are several events planned to honor faculty and staff, students, season ticket holders and several community groups and initiatives. The action kicks off Monday, Nov. 4 when the Cardinals host Morehead State for a ReviVILLE celebration as part of their home opener. 

Among the highlights include a 2005 Final Four Reunion, set for Saturday, March 1 against Pittsburgh, when the program welcomes back members of the 2005 Final Four team to the KFC Yum! Center for a special recognition. Louisville will also celebrate the 10th anniversary of the program joining the ACC Sunday, Dec. 8 against Duke. The team's annual Senior Day is set for Saturday, March 8 against Stanford. 

UofL will offer discounted tickets for faculty and staff Friday, Nov. 22 against Winthrop; exclusive giveaways and recognitions for season ticket members Tuesday, Jan. 7 against Clemson for Season Ticket Member Appreciation Day and student-only giveaways; and promotions Saturday, Jan. 18 against Virginia for Ville’ns Appreciation Day. 

Here are some additional highlights:

  • Salute to Service Military Appreciation (Saturday, Nov. 9 against Tennessee) — The program will honor veterans and active-duty military members with ticket discounts and exclusive recognitions. 
  • Annual Teddy Bear Toss (Tuesday, Dec. 3 against Ole Miss) — Fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to throw onto the court at halftime. The program will donate all items to children in need. 
  • Coaches vs. Cancer (Tuesday, Jan. 28 against Wake Forest) — UofL will honor cancer survivors, including a special Survivor Walk during halftime. 
  • Celebrating Black Excellence (Saturday, Feb. 8 against Miami) — The Cardinals will celebrate Black History Month, recognizing local heroes and community members.

Fans can also purchase two mini plans in addition to single-game tickets. With the ReviVILLE mini plan, fans can choose from one premium game (Tennessee, Duke or UNC), two ACC games (excluding Duke and UNC) or the SEC/ACC Challenge against Ole Miss and any two nonconference matchups (excluding Tennessee and Ole Miss). The ACC mini plan gives fans their choice of six ACC home games, with the ability to purchase all 10.
