LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville football season gets an early start Saturday, Aug. 31. The Cards begin the second season under head coach Jeff Brohm with a noon kickoff against Austin Peay.

Before you head to L&N Stadium, here is some information fans will need to know.

PARKING

All parking passes for the Planet Fitness Lots (ADA, Purple, Red, White, Green and Yellow) are digital. Fans should download their passes before heading to the stadium. Each pass will be scanned before fans are ushered into the lots. Manage your digital pass through the free Louisville Cardinals app available through all app stores on phones.

Single game passes are available for $40 each and must be bought online. Cash is not accepted at the lots.

For information on where the parking lots are located, specialized directions to each lot from WAZE and details about downloading the free CardsMobile app, you can go to a special website set up by UofL.

The parking lots for Saturday’s game will open at 7 a.m.

TICKETS

The L&N Stadium Ticket office opens at 9 a.m. The office remains cashless for 2024 and UofL suggests buying tickets online through Ticketmaster or a QR code available on game day for purchases.

The ticket office has temporarily been relocated to the “landing plaza” outside of Gate 1 and will be open for ticket related questions. Like parking, game tickets can be accessed using the Cards app.

PREGAME

The university’s tailgate area, known as The Alley, opens at 9 a.m. and is free. It offers music, food and drinks. Last call is at 11:15 a.m.

CARDMARCH

CardMarch is the traditional team entrance routine. Fans can join Louie the Cardinal Bird and the UofL marching band at 9:30 a.m. Brohm’s team will come down the steps from Denny Crum Way and walk through the tunnel to L&N Stadium.

GATES OPEN

Gates open at 10:30 a.m. A clear bag policy is in effect and all ticketing is mobile. Paper tickets are no longer accepted at any UofL athletics venue.
