LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Wildcats begin the 2024 football season Saturday, Aug. 31 when it welcomes Southern Miss to Kroger Field.
Fans can toast Coach Mark Stoops and the team with the new team branded Bud Light.
The Anheuser-Busch campaign is a partnership with comedians Shane Gillis and John McKeever. The pair are featured in new ads for the beverage, which showcases over 65 college teams.
“College football fans are some of the most passionate, dedicated fans out there and we are so proud to partner with teams across the country to make all of the special game day moments even easier to enjoy,” said Todd Allen, SVP Marketing, Bud Light.
New ad, titled “The Dean’s Office” begins airing on Aug. 31 on ESPN, ABC and NBC.
“I like football and beer, especially Bud Light. It was fun to work with McKeever and Steve on this.” said actor and comedian Shane Gillis, who recently topped Netflix charts with his lauded comedy special Beautiful Dogs.
Bud Light’s college football campaign follows the launch of its 2024 NFL campaign, “Easy to Sunday.”
The Cats will have eight home games at Kroger Field this season.
