LOUISVILLE, Ky. — With the bracket release of the Battle 4 Atlantis, plus the addition of their final exhibition game, new coach Pat Kelsey and the Louisville Cardinals have their complete 2024-25 nonconference schedule.

  • It includes a game against Indiana Nov. 27 at noon to open the Battle 4 Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas 

  • Louisville also announced it will host Spalding Oct. 28 in its second and final exhibition game, leading up to the Nov. 4 season opener against Morehead State

  • The Cardinals previously announced seven nonconference home games, plus the basketball battle for the Bluegrass Dec. 14 at Rupp Arena against Kentucky 

The Cardinals will face Indiana Nov. 27 at noon to open the Battle 4 Atlantis. The 12-game, three-day event is set for Thanksgiving week in Paradise Island, Bahamas.

Should UofL win, it'll face Gonzaga or West Virginia Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, in the second round. Louisville is 9-12 all-time against the Hoosiers, including 3-4 record neutral site games and is 73-69 overall against Big Ten opponents. The team is 4-2 all-time in the Battle 4 Atlantis but failed to make the championship game in its last two appearances (2012, 2016).

Louisville also announced it will face Spalding Oct. 28 at the KFC Yum! Center in its second and final exhibition game. After exhibition games against Young Harris (Oct. 21) and Spalding, the Cardinals will host Morehead State Nov. 4 in their season opener, beginning their nonconference schedule. That includes seven home games, along with the basketball battle for the Bluegrass Dec. 14 against new coach Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats.
