LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Fans of "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" will want to make their way to Louisville later this month.

Organizers for PopCon Louisville said actors Anson Mount, Ethan Peck and Christina Chong will appear at the anticipated pop culture event, set for Aug. 23-25 at the Kentucky International Convention Center. The three recently appeared at San Diego's Comic-Con.

Mount, who portrays Capt. Christopher Pike in the acclaimed CBS series, had his breakout by playing the character of Cullen Bohannon in the AMC television series "Hell on Wheels," helping solidify his status as a versatile actor. Peck played a young Spock in "Star Trek: Discovery," a role he has reprised for "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds." Chong portrays La'an Noonien-Singh in the series, which first debuted in May 2022 and has been picked up for a third season. 

Other celebrities set to appear include the following: 

  • Steven Ogg, Shawn Solo and Ned Luke of "Grand Theft Auto"
  • Olivia Olson and Davide Erringo of "Phineas and Ferb"
  • Grace Van Dien and Mason Dye of "Stranger Things"
