When officers arrived, they found a man down who was suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers on scene provided first aid until emergency medical services arrived.

EMS officials pronounced the male victim dead on scene. He was an employee of the business, the Louisville Metro Alcoholic Beverage Control said.

LMPD said a second adult was found at the scene, also outside, suffering from gunshot wounds before they were taken to University Hospital with critical and life-threatening injuries.

Police added while officers were working the scene, medical staff told them an additional six other adults showed up to area hospitals and got there privately. Those injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
