LOUISVILLE, Ky. — With temperatures quickly warming up, the Louisville Zoo is bringing back its "Hump Day Happy Hour" events this spring and summer.
The events, set for May 8 and July 10 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., offer visitors an after-hours experience of the zoo with food, animal encounters and a relaxed atmosphere. All guests must be 21 and over.
Tickets are $40 and include zoo entry, appetizers and two drink tickets valid for beer, wine or a specialty cocktail, the zoo said. Additional food and beverage will also be available for purchase.
The zoo is dedicating its May 8 happy hour, "Puuurfect Pairings," to its cats at the Tiger Taiga and Snow Leopard Pass exhibits. "Sunset Safari" will be the theme of the July 10 event, highlighting a variety of the zoo's animals.
All attendees should bring a valid ID, and no one under 21 will be admitted, the zoo said. Tickets are non-refundable, and no rainchecks or discounts are available. More information can be found on the zoo's website.
