Clemson opened the second half on a 21-9 run for a 55-31 lead at the 13-minute mark. Louisville answered with a 25-7 run to cut its deficit to 62-56. Hall made consecutive layups to push the Tigers' lead back to double-digits with 2:21 to play.

Chase Hunter added 16 points and Joe Girard scored 13 for Clemson (14-6, 4-5 ACC).

White scored 29 points on 11-of-20 shooting and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Louisville (6-15, 1-9), which has lost six straight games and nine of its last 10.

Hunter didn't miss a field goal, scoring 11 points to help Clemson build a 34-22 halftime advantage. Hall added 10 first-half points as the Tigers shot 50% from the floor and made 10 of 11 free throws. Louisville missed all 11 of its 3-pointers and was 8-of-33 shooting (24%) in the first half.

Each team has home games on Saturday. Louisville faces Florida State and Clemson plays Virginia.
