LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It seems like football season just started, but there are only two games left in the regular season. Louisville’s last home game against Kentucky is officially sold out.
The game is Saturday, Nov. 25. The television network and game time haven’t been set yet. UofL says that decision will be made on Saturday, Nov. 18 or Sunday, Nov. 19.
This is the second sold out game for the Cards this season and the first time the team has had multiple sold out games in the same season since 2016. The Oct. 7 Louisville-Notre Dame game had the largest crowd in school history, with 59,081. Louisville won the game 33-20.
The Cards and the Cats have played every year since 1994, except for 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Louisville, 9-1 on the season, travels to Miami on Nov. 18 and Kentucky, 6-4, is on the road to South Carolina.
