LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Jefferson County Public Schools is hiring. 

The Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center in Louisville is hosting a job fair Friday, Oct. 20, where you can learn about open full-time and part-time positions.

There are a range of positions available from bus drivers, instructional assistants, early childhood bus buddies, teachers and nutrition services.

“Some of the jobs we are hiring for are our security team members, bus buddies, they work with our three- and four-year-old early childhood students and they work at that 10:30 and that 1:30 transportation time. And they make sure our three- and four-year-olds get to and from school safely, which is a fantastic job and they make $20 an hour,” said Carolyn Callahan with JCPS. 

If you are interested in applying, potential candidates should bring a resume and an ID with them. JCPS will have staff members on site to help candidates with the application process.

“Every role that we are hiring for is a vital role throughout the school district and every one of these  roles is going to make a positive impact on the life of a child,” said Callahan. 

JCPS has close to 100,000 students and operates 165 schools.
