Juliet Gahan is a multimedia journalist with a passion for storytelling. Born and raised in New Albany, Indiana, she grew up right across the bridge from Louisville. She joined Spectrum News 1 in March 2023.

She’s a graduate of Indiana University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Media with concentrations in Media Research, Sports Media, and Media Law and Ethics.

Before joining the Spectrum News 1 team, Juliet worked as a live entertainment host at The Walt Disney Company, where she developed programming for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park’s H2O Glow Nights and other large private events. She also interned at Indiana University Athletics, producing and hosting a weekly Indiana University football pregame show called Hoosier Huddle.

Juliet loves the excitement that comes with being a reporter and how she never knows where a story will take her or who she’ll meet along the way. Her goal at Spectrum News 1 is to continue sharing stories from her community of Louisville, which she describes as “one big family."

In her free time, Juliet enjoys watching baseball games at the Louisville Bats, attending Cards Football games, and catching a Louisville City soccer game. She’s also a big fan of local coffee shops and likes to go for walks with her family on the Ohio River greenway.
