LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Derby Week is in full swing, which means horse racing fans are descending upon Churchill Downs for a week of thoroughbreds, bourbon and celebrations of all things Kentucky.

Over 15,000 took part in 502's Day, Churchill Downs' inaugural celebration of the local community. 20,000 came out for Champions Day, which was dedicated to the rich history of thoroughbred racing.

A record-breaking crowd of over 50,000 attended Thurby on Thursday. 

Pretty Mischievous gave an impressive performance to win the 149th running of the Kentucky Oaks early Friday evening. The filly had 10-1 odds to win going in to the race.

Mage stormed from behind to win the 149th Run for the Roses. The horse had 15-1 odds and was jockeyed by Javier Castellano.
