BELLEVUE, Ky. — People were lining up to get some tasty treats from Schneider's Sweet Shop on Saturday.
“The day before easter is probably our top four or five busiest days of the year,” shop owner Kelly Schneider Morgan said.
Morgan said altogether, it’s been a busy Easter season. She and the team at Schneider’s have been prepping since January to make sure people have their jelly beans, chocolates and personalized eggs. She said they were even starting to sell out of items come Saturday.
“That is our ultimate goal, is by Easter, the day before, to be starting to run out of things because that means we sold it all,” she said. “And it’s going to be in everyone’s Easter baskets tomorrow morning.”
Morgan said this candy shop’s been in the family for generations now and it’s nice to see people supporting the business all these years later.
“It’s amazing,” Morgan said. “I mean there’s so many other stores and especially the world we live in now you can go into places like Krogers and get things and for people to choose to come to us, it just makes all the hard work worth it.”
