The Lexington music festival wasn't held in 2022 after a sold-out 2021 festival left a bad taste in the mouths of many fans, which was evident in responses on social media.
Fans said the long lines for everything from entry to water refilling stations, coupled with "miserably" hot conditions, amounted to their "worst festival experience ever." The festival prohibited fans from bringing in outside drinks, including water. Some attendees reported waiting for over an hour for a cup of water.
"We have listened and taken your feedback to heart and are working hard behind the scenes to create an exceptional experience for the next edition of the festival," organizers wrote on social media.
Railbird's inaugural 2019 festival featured headliners Brandi Carlile, Hozier, Tyler Childers and the Raconteurs.
