KENTUCKY — We’re closing in on Thanksgiving in the Commonwealth and if you haven’t secured your bird by now, you may very well be out of time.

But fear not! As we’ve seen throughout the pandemic, restaurants and local businesses are always adapting to the changing times. Many across Kentucky are offering to-go turkeys and Thanksgiving catering packages.

If you’ve unknowingly put off Thanksgiving planning, or simply want an easier way to feed your flock, here’s where you can find easy, wholesome Thanksgiving feasts.

Bob Evans (Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green, Northern Kentucky)

In addition to hosting in-person Thanksgiving feasts, Bob Evans is offering to-go Turkey Day catering with a lot of options.

Packed cold, the Farmhouse Feast serves up to 10 people and features turkey, ham, corn, green beans and all the staples.

If you’d like your catering served warm, the Holiday Hot Family Meal can feed up to six people with all the fixings, including a whole pumpkin pie.

Bob Evans Thanksgiving meals are available for pick-up through Thanksgiving Day, and some locations offer home delivery.

Cracker Barrel (Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green, Northern Kentucky)

The go-to for down home country cooking, Cracker Barrel has both “Heat & Serve” and “Hot & Ready” feast options available this Thanksgiving.

Heat & Serve can feed up to 10 people with the feast option, or you can feed 4-6 with the scaled-down Family Dinner option.

And don’t forget the dessert! You can pick up fresh-baked pies in pumpkin, pecan and even cinnamon roll flavors.

You can order your Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving meal online with at least a 24-hour notice.

Honey Baked Ham (Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green, Northern Kentucky)

Thanksgiving doesn’t always have to be centered around a turkey. If you’re more of a ham fan, don’t miss Honey Baked Ham’s holiday specials. (Although they also sell turkeys).

Just about $150 will get you their Thanksgiving Dinner, which includes either a ham or turkey, as well as three sides. It may seem pricey, but that package can feed up to 18 people.

You can order a Honey Baked Ham feast online for pick-up, and some can be delivered just in time for Thanksgiving.

Metro Diner (Louisville)

This Louisville favorite is selling a host of heat-and-serve Thanksgiving packages that can serve one, four or eight people. Those interested can choose either a roasted turkey or baked ham.

Five sides, including cranberry sauce and Hawaiian rolls, are included. Desserts and additional sides can also be added.

Orders can be placed online, but must be in by 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 22.

Buca di Beppo (Louisville, Cincinnati)

Buca’s Thanksgiving Feast has all the holiday favorites: mashed potatoes, sliced white meat turkey, spicy italian sausage stuffing and more.

You can order your feast hot or cold. Options can feed groups as small as three or as large as 20.

Smokey Bones (Louisville)

Another Louisville-area option for those not up for cooking this year is Smokey Bones. You can serve up to eight people for just $149 which comes with a 12-14 lb turkey.

Naturally, corn bread, stuffing and green bean casserole is included.

Orders can be placed in-restaurant or over the phone (502-491-7570) now through Thanksgiving Day for pickup.

City Barbeque (Lexington, Louisville, Northern Kentucky)

Slow-smoked holiday feasts are back at the barbeque favorite with locations in Lexington, Louisville and Northern Kentucky.

Their meals are served hot and ready-to-carve, with options able to feed up to 16 with sides, buns and leftovers included.

Supplies are limited so you’ll want to reserve your meal as soon as possible by calling your location’s phone number. More information can be found here.

Whole Foods (Lexington, Louisville)

This health-conscious grocery offers a wide array of holiday catering including appetizer trays, family feast packages and side options for both Thanksgiving and Hanukkah.

The festive Thanksgiving Feast for 12 includes two entrees, a host of sides, and two delectable pies.

Whole Foods also has vegan and vegetarian-friendly options. Orders can be placed for pick-up online.

La Bonne Vie (Lexington)

If you’re looking for an artisan, personal-chef-inspired Turkey Day, look no further than Lexington’s La Bonne Vie. They offer organic holiday meals that can feature ham, turkey or roast beef – not to mention the unmatched sides and desserts.
