LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) announced it's expanding meal pick-up times at 10 food sites.
What You Need To Know
- JCPS expands meal pick-up times at 10 sites
- Meals to be offered between 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays
- Expanded times begin Oct. 8
- Meals provided for free to anyone 18 years or younger
The move is meant to help parents and guardians who work or students busy with Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) during the regular serving time, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meals will also be offered between 4-6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Oct. 8.
The expanded meal times will be offered at the following schools:
- Butler Traditional High School
- Carrithers Middle School
- Eastern High School
- Farnsley Middle School
- Greathouse Shryock Traditional Elementary School
- Male High School
- Roosevelt-Perry Elementary School
- Seneca High School
- Valley High School
- Westport Middle School
The meal program, which provides free meals to any child 18 years or younger, allows one breakfast, lunch and supper per day per child no matter when the meal is picked up.
