LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Louisville Mega Cavern will begin its phased reopening June 11 with limited guests and amended hours of operation.

“We’re excited to welcome adventure-seekers back through our doors for some much-needed fun,” said Charles Park, executive vice president. “To do so safely and responsibly, we will be following best practices and protocols, based on the latest guidance from federal and state authorities, to ensure the health and well-being of our employees and guests.”

Mega Cavern will be open Thursday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and have limited capacities based on each attraction including Mega Zips, Mega Quest and Mega Bike Park.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Mega Cavern will implement safety measures which include sanitization stations, posted safety precautions, training for staff, increased cleaning, social distancing and face coverings required for all guests.

“This next visit with us may look and feel a bit different from those in the past, but the experience will remain the same,” said Lauren Parker, director of guest experience & marketing. “Our team is ready, and we look forward to welcoming our guests through our doors once again.”
