1. Biden directs team to study security risk of aerial objects, after three more shot down
The Pentagon officials said they were still trying to determine what exactly the objects were and said they had considered using the jets’ guns instead of missiles, but it proved to be too difficult.
2. Georgetown receives state funds to enhance roads, alleviate traffic jams
With the funds, the city will make the road accessible for two-way traffic by designating a left turn lane in front of the high school.
3. UofL receives over $1 million to address heart health in Black communities
The larger of the two grants will support cardiac disease screening and nutrition-based interventions to address cardiac health disparities among older Black adults in Louisville.
4. Antisemitism worries rising for many U.S. Jews, survey finds
Four in five Jews said in the 2022 survey that antisemitism has grown in the past five years; nearly half said it’s taken less seriously than other forms of bigotry or hate.
