LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky AI Summit will take place on Monday, Jan. 29.

Artificial intelligence has been a hot topic of conversation. The company that is hosting the summit, Deloitte, hopes that some people’s questions surrounding the technology will be answered.

Deloitte has partnered with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce for the summit. Deloitte is the world’s largest professional services firm.

The event sold out and there will be representatives from universities, government and different companies who will be present. There will be presenters, panels and demonstrations to give attendees the chance to get some hands-on experience with the technology.

“This is technology that’s been around for a long time, that’s been thrust into the national conversation, and most importantly, it’s doing a lot of things to improve life, not in an abstract way, improve life right here in Kentucky,” said Jordan Harris, a client relationship executive for Deloitte.

The Kentucky AI Summit will be over a four-hour period with a wide range of guests. There will be a representative from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce who will give an “AI 101” presentation. State Representatives Josh Branscum, R-Russell Springs, and Josh Bray, R-Mount Vernon, will participate in a panel on AI policy in Kentucky.
