LEXINGTON, Ky. — University of Kentucky Athletics is adjusting its ticketing procedures for the Richmond-Morehead State game this Friday. The changes come after COVID-19 safety protocols postponed the Kentucky men's basketball game vs. Detroit Mercy also scheduled for Friday.

While Kentucky season ticket holders won't be able to use their Friday tickets and parking passes for the Richmond-Morehead State game, UK Athletics will honor tickets and parking passes to the rescheduled Kentucky-Detroit Mercy game. A new date will be set later this season.

Fans can still attend the Richmond-Morehead State game, however. The game, rescheduled to 6 p.m. Friday at Rupp Arena, will be ticketed as a separate event. Tickets are on sale exclusively through Ticketmaster.

Seats for the Richmond-Morehead State game will be located in the lower bowl and cost $30 apiece. Tickets, which fans will receive via mobile delivery, will be sold in physically-distanced blocks of two, three, and four seats. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Parking in the High Street lot may be purchased upon arrival.

Health and safety procedures will be in place. 

Tickets and parking passes for Kentucky's games on Wednesday vs. Morehead State and Sunday vs. Richmond will remain in place, and all ticket management features will remain available to season ticket holders through their My UK Account.

If additional changes are made to Kentucky's schedule throughout the season, UK Athletics said ticket holders will receive communication via email.

Should any games be canceled and not rescheduled, UK Athletics also said it will evaluate credit and refund options for the ticket portion of payment at the conclusion of the season.

Now that Detroit Mercy is not participating in the Bluegrass Showcase this week, the schedule is as follows:

Wednesday

6 p.m. – Morehead State at Kentucky (SEC Network)

Friday

6 p.m. – Richmond vs. Morehead State

Sunday

1 p.m. – Richmond at Kentucky (ESPN)
