LEXINGTON, Ky. — You may not be able to see the Kentucky Wildcats in person, but now you, your pet, your mother-in-law, or whomever you choose can be in the stands this season.

The University of Kentucky is offering fans to buy cutouts for the upcoming season. The cutouts will be placed in the stands Rupp Arena and/or Memorial Coliseum for the 2020-21 season.

You've seen these cutouts in college and professional stadiums during the pandemic and UK will have them at men's and women's basketball games, as well as gymnastics and volleyball matches.

Prices vary depending on the style you choose, but the cutouts start at $50. To buy one or more you can go to the UK athletics website. Once you choose your cutout you can upload a picture from your phone or computer. The cutouts will automatically be shipped to Rupp Arena or Memorial Coliseum in time for the season.

Once the season wraps up, fans can pick up their cutout or have it shipped to them. If you have it shipped, fans are responsible for paying the shipping charges. 

Proceeds from the cutouts will go to student-athlete scholarships.
