LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Job seekers across the Commonwealth can take a look at Baptist Health as the company is actively hiring 250 people for its call centers in Louisville and Lexington.

New hires will serve as "patient access coordinators," fielding calls from patients across Kentucky and Southern Indiana to schedule appointments, retrieve medical records, and provide other services.

Louisville-based hirees will work at Baptist Health's Patient Connection Hub near Hillview, while those in Lexington will occupy the city's hub at 2525 Harrodsburg Road.

According to a press release, the hub is "a one-stop experience designed to streamline patient and provider communication." Agents are trained quickly and thoroughly to ensure the best experience for patients.

“Baptist Health is known for its compassionate care, and we are seeking people with that caring and helpful spirit for these teams,” said Anne Williams, Patient Connection Hub executive director. “This will be a fast-paced environment and successful candidates must communicate effectively, remain composed in times of stress, and consider all patient and provider information as highly confidential.”

The company is seeking candidates with strong computer, research, and problem-solving skills. Medical office experience is desired, but not required.

The call centers operate from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, but flexible scheduling is available. New hires can receive a sign-on bonus as well. Consult Baptist Health's website for more information.
