LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Thousands of homes are for sale in the Louisville area. However, not many are connected to one of the U.S. Presidents whose likeness is carved into Mount Rushmore.
1801 Sulgrave Road is a unique estate.
“Instead of a big 'Look at me house,' you’re in your secret garden," says Joanne Owen the realtor tasked with selling the home.
Owen has been selling properties for 35 years but Cold Spring is unique.
“Joshua Speed and his wife Fanny Henning built this. When Joshua was a child he knew Abraham Lincoln,” Owen recounts.
According to Owen, Speed and Lincoln knew each other while both lived in Springfield, Illinois.
Spectrum News 1's Jonathon Gregg toured the large residence and its emaculate carriage house.
