LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Orchestra, under the direction of Musical Director Teddy Abrams, will present a free concert at Iroquois Amphitheater to launch the new season.

The show will feature a variety of music including classical (Symphony No. 9 by Antonin Dvorak) bluegrass (Pando lby Jeremy Kittel), traditional (Amazing Grace), and film (Star Wars by John Williams). The concert will close with Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. The show will have something for every member of the family. In addition to the orchestra, Julia Noone and Ben Sollee will also perform solos during the show. 

The free concert takes place Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Iroquois Amphitheater . Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. and no tickets are required. Parking is also free.  A word of caution, there is a chance this show will reach capacity, so plan accordingly.
