SAN FRANCISCO — Things can get a little testy when the season is on the line, but Zach Stensurd and Brittney Houk didn't care about sitting in the enemy's house. They wanted nothing more than to see an entire park of Giants go home in defeat.

"Just to watch these fans leave out of here disappointment, because Dodgers are winning tonight, taking Game 5, taking it home," Houck said.

The couple lives in Texas, but Stensurd grew up in Southern California. They only came out west this week to see the Chargers play at SoFi Stadium. They happened to meet a Giants fan at a hotel, who gave them tickets to Game 5 of the NLDS, right behind home plate.

"He is a true baseball fan," Stensurd said. "He gave us the tickets because he knows we actually love baseball. But at the same time, he knew we'd be rocking blue in his house. He's OK with it."

As night fell at Oracle Park, tension was in the air, with the game tied at one in the ninth inning.

"I'm a little nervous right now," Houck said. "Sitting on the edge of my seat."

The Giants crowd was ready to explode before Cody Bellinger stepped up to the plate and delivered the biggest hit of the season, giving the Dodgers a 2-1 lead.

"Just extremely blessed to be able to be in the moment, and just stay with myself and just try and get the job done," Bellinger said.

A few outs later, there was a celebration as the Dodgers clinched a win and a trip to the NLCS.

For Stensurd and Houk, and all the Dodgers faithful who drove north, it was pure jubilation.

"We can't for the Braves. Bring on the Braves," xx said.
