As we head into the month of June, we can officially put the lid on the 2019-2020 snow season across Wisconsin. Let's hope I didn't just jinx us!

The final numbers are in and we actually got by pretty lucky this past year. We had a lot less snow than last year and versus what we typically see in a season.

Where was the snowiest place in Wisconsin? You have to travel Up North. Way up North!

Several locales cracked the 100" mark this season. Here are the top 12 snowiest sites in the state this year:

I do find it a little funny that the town of Winter made the list. I guess it'd be a little odd if they *didn't*, right?!

Okay, what about places like Milwaukee and Madison? How much snow fell there? Let's take a look.

Ah, those poor folks in Platteville. Couldn't even muster two feet of snow this year...what a shame.

Now, comparing the above amounts to "average", this last Winter was below normal in most cases. Let's take a little closer look at typical snowfall in a season for the main three reporting sites in the state.

As you can see, we average a lot more snow in a season that what we picked up this past year.

So just like that, our winter season has ended. Thankfully we did not have to deal with major ice storms or any crippling blizzards this season.
