Many are still seeing snow make its way across Wisconsin, and will continue to do so through Thursday.

What You Need To Know

  • Snow-covered roads are likely in northwestern Wisconsin

  • The heaviest snow will be in northwestern and north-central Wisconsin

  • Farther south and east will mainly see flurries

  • Snow continues to move through the state through Thursday

Most of northern Wisconsin is under a Winter Weather Advisory, while those in Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland and Iron Counties are under a Winter Storm Warning through 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Those counties shaded in purple and pink are likely to see an additional few inches of snow the rest of Wednesday, causing slippery road conditions.

Snow showers will continue to circulate through the state Wednesday, with the most snow seen in northwestern Wisconsin.

Heading into Thursday, snow will start to lessen up. We'll still see occasional snow showers pass through, with some flurries here and there. Snow will clear out completely by Thursday night.

The main concern will be in regards to poor travel conditions in northwestern Wisconsin. Slippery spots on the roads are likely in northern Wisconsin through Thursday, especially where surfaces are not treated. Leave extra time for travel if you're driving through north-central or northwestern Wisconsin.

Those in northwestern and north-central Wisconsin will see the highest snow totals when all is said and done. Accumulations will likely be several inches.

This winter storm is not impacting southern and eastern Wisconsin as much. Aside from some flurries, these locations will likely see less than an inch by Thursday.
